Team Ormerod Fearless Leaders Kokoda 2015 for LIifeline
Story
Hi there,
We would like to introduce ourselves, Melinda Ormerod (Mother 43yrs) and Elysia Ormerod (Daughter 21yrs).
We have embarked on a huge challenge. On the 20th April 2015 we are joining a team of Trekkers to follow in the steps of our hero's of the Kokoda Track, this is a 9-day trek through very rugged and challenging terrain. WHY, you may ask. Well life is challenging for some much more than others, We are very passionate about life and saving life, Suicide effects everyone, this is why we have taken this passion of ours and challenged ourselves for such a great cause "Saving Lives"
On the 25th April 2015 we will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Anzac's on this day we will be at the dawn service in Naduri, in honour of the many Soldiers who lost their lives here, as well as all the Anzacs. We feel this will be a very emotional day, as we will be in the very place of our fallen forefathers, and be trekking to save lives of all who are going through their own personal challenges.
We would love for you to be part of our challenge. We are raising money for Lifeline Australia, we welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make, any amount will make a difference.
